Permission categories
Applies to stores on custom plans where Randio manages the accounts; see Who can use Randio.
Permissions come in two kinds. Feature permissions say what a person can do. Data permissions say what they can see, and cut across the features.
Feature permissions
| Category | Keys |
|---|---|
| Campaigns | view, create, edit, delete, activate, schedule, pause, resume |
| Strategies | view, create, edit, delete |
| Page templates | view, create, edit, delete |
| Email templates | view, create, edit, delete |
| Promo blocks | view, create, edit, delete |
| Customers | view, manage groups, manage consent, import and export |
| Orders | view |
| Catalogs | view |
| Settings | view, modify, integrations, sync |
| Team | view, invite, remove, permissions |
Keys chain: create, edit and delete each require view in the same category, and import and export requires manage groups. Granting one grants its prerequisite; revoking the prerequisite revokes the rest.
Data permissions
- Financial: revenue, order values and commission figures.
- Personal information: customer names, emails and addresses.
- Billing: the plan and the bill. Owner only; it cannot be granted.
Roles
A role is a saved set of permissions. Four presets exist:
- Manager: every feature and all sensitive data. Billing stays owner-only.
- Analyst: view campaigns, strategies, page and email templates and orders; full customer access (groups, consent, import and export); financial and personal data.
- Strategist: campaigns (view, create, edit, delete, activate) and strategies (view, create, edit, delete). No sensitive data.
- Designer: page and email templates (view, create, edit). No sensitive data.
Default role names cannot be changed. You can create your own under Settings → Users → Roles → New role, and adjust an individual user's permissions on top of their role. Editing a role offers to re-apply it to its members.
The owner has every permission and cannot be restricted. Ownership can be transferred to another user from the Users page.
